The trial of the man accused of killing Sarah sees multiple delays, including witnesses not turning up.

Sarah's father Vic said he was 'losing confidence' in the justice system.

A charity - the Sarah Groves Foundation - is set up in memory of Sarah, to help students in Tanzania.

  • January 2015

Two main witnesses give their testimonies - one of them is a tourist police officer who was one of the first to hear about the murder.

  • 16th February 2015

A campaign group is set up to support Sarah's family, and an appeal is launched to find two potential key witnesses in the case. Justice for Sarah believe Umar Chapsi and Shublu Thala were with her boyfriend on the night she died.

Sarah's father says the court in Srinagar is set to impose a lawyer on the man accused of her murder. No progress has been made in the trial so far because Richard De Wit, the accused, has still not appointed a new lawyer.

Sarah's parents post a poem on the Justice for Sarah Facebook page on the second anniversary of her death.

Dutch national Richard De Wit is charged with murder, but his new lawyer accuses Sarah's boyfriend of being responsible for her death.

Richard de Wit could be transferred to a mental health clinic in Delhi for treatment. It comes amid talks of whether he is fit to stand trial - he is medically assessed as unfit to stand trial because of paranoid schizophrenia.

Around 70 people from Guernsey begin 650 mile bike ride in memory of Sarah Groves. Her father Vic says the Tour De Sez is a 'constructive way' of remembering Sarah.
