Parents of murdered Guernseywoman lodge complaint over trial
The parents of murdered backpacker Sarah Groves are lodging a complaint against the Indian court system over the conduct of the trial into their daughter's death.
Vic and Kate Groves have pointed to lengthy delays in which no witnesses have been processed in 4 months.
Sarah Groves was killed on a houseboat in India in April 2013.
Today was the 63rd occasion the court convened, with the latest hearing discussing whether defendant Richard de Wit had appointed legal representation.
The dutch national's lawyer was dismissed in December 2015, the fourth time this has happened since the trial began in June 2013.
