Parents' concerns the wrong man might be framed for their daughter's murder

The parents of murdered Guernsey woman Sarah Groves have spoken for the first time about their increasing concern that the wrong man is behind bars.

Vic and Kate Groves have told ITV News about the changes in Sarah's personality after meeting her then boyfriend Saeed Shoda in India.

Sarah's family are now speaking out about the trial's descent into farce and their fears it will collapse entirely.

Dutch national Richard De Wit is accused of killing Sarah and has been held in prison in Kashmir since 2013.

But now Sarah's parents fear he may be being used as a scapegoat and say they had a sense something was wrong, just days before her death.

Vic Groves claims the investigation into his daughter's death wasn't dealt with properly.

The crime scene was such that has it been handled properly, there is no question the identity of the person who did it would have been clear. The crime scene was sufficiently set up to provide all the answers we were looking for but none of that ever took place.
