Man accused of killing Sarah Groves expected in court for 100th hearing
The 100th hearing in the trial of a man, accused of killing a Guernsey woman, is due to take place in Kashmir later.
Sarah Groves was 24-years-old when she was stabbed to death on a houseboat in 2013.
Dutch national Richard de Wit was arrested shortly after her murder, although his trial has made very little progress over the past four years.
Sarah's parents fear the 100th hearing may also be delayed, after a new judge and prosecutor were appointed to hear the case.
It comes after Mr de Wit applied to have his case heard in a different court.
Sarah's father, Vic Groves, says the accused had frequently crossed swords with previous judge, Mr Rashid Ali Dar, and had campaigned for change on a number of previous occasions.
Meanwhile, the change of prosecutor may be welcome news to the Groves family, after Vic criticised Mr Syed Maqbool, who will be replaced by Mr Mujeeb Ansari in the new court.
