Tyne Tees Tour De Yorkshire

This week, Richmondshire District Council agreed to underwrite the race to the tune of up to £100,000 if sponsorship cannot be secured.

The sixth edition of the annual event will take place next year over the Bank Holiday between Thursday 30 April and Sunday 3 May.

The event takes in all four corners of the county, including 150 villages, towns and cities. North Yorkshire features heavily on the route.
