RNLI lifeguards on beach patrol over Bank Holiday weekend

Lifeguards from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) will be patrolling beaches in North Yorkshire during the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend.

The charity lifeguards will be providing extra peace of mind to the additional influx of visitors expected in the region for the Tour de Yorkshire, which takes place this weekend.

RNLI lifeguards will be at their posts on Scarborough's North and South bay from 10am to 6pm over the weekend and on Bank Holiday Monday. They will also be patrolling beaches at Whitby and Sandsend during these times.
