The man was bitten by an Alsatian, leaving him with hand injuries Derbyshire Police said, as the force launched an appeal to find the dog's owner.

Investigation into the cause concluded it started accidentally by a fire pit in the garden placed too close to a wooden garage.

Emergency services were called to Dairyhouse Rd, Normanton in Derbyshire after reports of an overturned vehicle this morning (27 December).
