Police tracing black Audi A3 after hit-and-run

Police in Normanton are trying to trace the driver of a black Audi A3 in connection with a 'hit-and-run'.

Officers say the car will most likely have damage to the windscreen as a result of the collision, which happened at around 7.25pm last night (Sunday, November 5).

The car collided with a pedestrian at the junction of Normanton Road and Harriett Street leaving the pedestrian with serious injuries in hospital.

Police are checking garages, driveways and car parks in the area to try and trace the car.
