Code Blue: One Punch Killers
This new documentary in ITV's Code Blue series explores the issue of one-punch killings after there were a reported 82 deaths of this type across the UK over the past five years.
With rare access to detectives, the film looks at three cases - two killings and one assault. One case study features a victim who is left picking up the pieces of his life after a one-punch attack left him with a fractured skull and lasting mental trauma. In another case, officers look into the case of the brother of two Welsh international rugby players who was murdered outside a nightclub in Neath.
The programme also explores the role of alcohol and violent culture and speaks to family members and friends left devastated by the deaths and injury of their loved ones. It also considers the tricky question of when a drunken argument turns to violence, whether those convicted intended to kill their victim.

THE TERROR
Full series drop available on ITVX on Thursday 20 June
Inspired by a true story, THE TERROR is a 10 part tense drama from AMC that centres on the British Royal Navy’s perilous voyage into unchartered territory as the crew attempts to discover the Northwest Passage.
Faced with treacherous conditions, limited resources, dwindling hope and fear of the unknown, the crew is pushed to the brink of extinction. Frozen, isolated and stuck at the end of the earth, The Terror highlights all that can go wrong when a group of men, desperate to survive, struggle not only with the elements, but with each other.
EPISODE 1: "GO FOR BROKE"
Sir John Franklin's Arctic expedition finds itself within two hundred miles of finally discovering the Northwest Passage when an accident at sea cripples one of its two ships. Sir John must make a difficult choice that could either seal their bid for glory or doom them.
EPISODE 2: "GORE"
Having spent a long winter trapped in the ice, spring arrives and an optimistic Sir John sends scouting parties out to search for open water. But one of the parties makes an unsettling discovery and finds itself the target of a vicious predator.
EPISODE 3: "THE LADDER"
With the "thing on the ice" now stalking the ships, Captain Francis Crozier tries to convince Sir John to send out a rescue party to attempt to alert the world of their situation, pitting Crozier’s loyalty to his commander against his duty to his crew.
EPISODE 4: "PUNISHED, AS A BOY"
With the arrival of another winter, a frightening attack on the ships proves to the men they are not battling an ordinary bear. Whatever is hunting them is cunning, and driving the men to panic. The expedition's officers are forced to consider that the region's Inuit culture may hold the key to their survival or demise.
EPISODE 5: "FIRST SHOT A WINNER, LADS"
Plunged into the constant howling darkness of winter, with temperatures falling past fifty below, a strange illness begins to preoccupy the expedition's doctors while another, more familiar one jeopardizes the expedition's most valuable resource--its captain's judgment.
EPISODE 6: "A MERCY"
With the end of their foodstuffs now in sight, and again no signs of a thaw, the expedition's officers accept the harrowing reality that their best chance of survival may lie in an eight-hundred-mile walk out. A plan is hatched to raise the men's spirits before the captains deliver this dismaying news.
EPISODE 7: "HORRIBLE FROM SUPPER"
A massive mobilization of men attempts to move all the expedition's portable supplies to land as the expedition's long walk south begins. Leaving the protection of the ships, they are now completely exposed to attack from any direction. A series of shocking events underscores how fragile their situation has become.
EPISODE 8: "TERROR CAMP CLEAR"
After an officer is killed under mysterious circumstances, paranoia takes hold of the camp. While investigating what happened, Captain Crozier discovers that while most of the men have turned their energies to the common good, a small band of others may have begun to imagine alternatives.
EPISODE 9: "THE C, THE C, THE OPEN C"
Dogged by worsening health, the men discover that their once-critical ranks and histories no longer matter to their chances for survival. It is now up to what inner strengths they can muster. Hope comes in strange forms, and the moral question of what each man is willing to do to survive starts to be settled in both noble and horrifying ways.
EPISODE 10: "WE ARE GONE"
With summer coming to an end, the men of the expedition discover that in times of great jeopardy, epic risks and sacrifices must be made. As their increasingly surreal journey reaches a point of crisis, they find themselves in one final confrontation with the Inuit mythology that has been confounding and stalking them from the start.

Adam Lambert: Out, Loud and Proud
Join multi-platinum selling American singer and Queen frontman, Adam Lambert as he sets the record straight in this eye-opening music documentary. Having faced censorship in the U.S, Lambert brings his unique perspective to explore how British LGBTQ+ artists have fought for their place in the music industry.
Through candid interviews with Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor, reflecting on queer icon Freddie Mercury, to intimate conversations with Andy Bell of 80’s pop duo Erasure, and Skin from 90’s band Skunk Anansie (the first Black British artist to headline Glastonbury) and British pop icon MNEK, Lambert uncovers the groundbreaking stories of these artists. Each one not only defined their decade but also battled for queer rights, pushing against a music industry that often demanded conformity for success.
In the final part, this documentary dives into the final frontier of LGBTQ+ rights in the 21st century. Featuring actress and singer Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, the first trans woman to win a Golden Globe for her role in "Pose", the film reveals how language, tropes and negative coverage once used against cisgender gay and lesbian people in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s are still used to target the trans community today.
Adam Lambert: Out, Loud and Proud is a powerful tribute to the resilience and revolutionary spirit of LGBTQ+ artists who have transformed the music world while fighting for equality.
