Guernsey Alderney

An Alderney politician has warned the island must generate new revenue streams following its budget presentation to the States today (Wednesday 16 October).

Alderney airport's approved extension could be in jeopardy, after Deputy Lyndon Trott said he would bring the issue back to the States for debate.

There are proposals from Alderney's Governance group to remove the public vote when it comes to electing the island's representatives in Guernsey's States.
