Sailings to Herm restart today

Sailings to Herm will begin today (9 June) after it shut its borders during the coronavirus pandemic.

People from across the Bailiwick of Guernsey will now be able to visit on a day-return ticket, as the island begins to reopen.

The visitor boats have not run since 23 March.

It is still unknown when Herm will re-open to people from outside of the Bailiwick.

Travel Trident, which operates the service from Guernsey, says people will need to book tickets from their website. Tickets will not be sold at the kiosk.

The first sailing to the island is scheduled for 10am, with only three return sailings a day:
