People will not be able to access Sark or Herm from today.
All passenger sailings to and from the islands have been suspended until further notice.
In a post on their website, ferry company Sark Shipping stated: 'All passenger sailings to and from Sark will be temporarily suspended'.
Herm Island has also put out this statement:
If people have reservations up to 30 April, they are asked to contact their travel insurers and reservations@herm.com.
