Sark reopens borders after lockdown
After almost ten weeks of lockdown, Sark reopens its borders today to people from Guernsey, Alderney and Herm.
The island closed in March to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
The visitor centre is open as well as shops, cafes and La Seigneurie Gardens.
The Bel Air Inn and the Mermaid Tavern will offer al fresco dining from Wednesday. Nicole's restaurant will also open on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Herm opened to private boaters this weekend. It was to test the island's social distancing measures before commercial passenger boats are welcomed.
Some shops opened but with strict rules on social distancing.
