NHS reports nine more coronavirus patients have died in the Anglia region
A further nine patients have died with coronavirus in hospitals in the Anglia region according to daily figures released by NHS England on Saturday.
It is the highest number recorded in the daily figures in the region since last Saturday.
The patients died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn in Norfolk, at Northampton General Hospital and at the West Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
It follows three deaths reported in the area on Friday and five on Thursday.
The total number of patients dying in the hospitals in the Anglia region has now reached 4,096 and the total number of deaths in all settings, including care home, hospices and in the community as well as in hospitals is 5,885.
The total figure includes people who have died without a positive test for Covid-19 but where the condition was mentioned on death certificates.

The number of hospital patients passing away with Covid-19 in the Anglia region is continuing to decrease.
During the week ending Sunday 5 July there were 32 patient deaths compared to 57 the previous week.
