A dog dressed as a spider and scaring unsuspecting members of the public is the most watched YouTube video of 2014.

The clip of dog Chica, uploaded by his owner, actor and director Sylvester Wardega in Poland, has clocked up a massive 113 million views.

Next up, with just under 100 million views, was a Nike advert starring the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar da Silva Santos Junior and Wayne Rooney.

Taking the third slot was First Kiss, a black and white short by filmmaker Tatia PIlieva, which captured the moment strangers locked lips for the first time - watched by 94 million people and counting.

The audition tape for real-life Sister Act, nun Sister Cristina Scuccia's first performance on the Italian version of The Voice, came in fourth.
