Winter fruit compote
You can still have something sweet on the Vow to Wow plan with Sally's Bee's winter compote. Using plums and figs, it's perfect for a delicious, healthy breakfast!
Ingredients
Use plums and fresh figs – you can also add apples and pears if you like.
Method
Halve the figs and the plums and take out the plum stones
Wash any other fruit and cut into similar sized chucks as the halved plums
Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of runny honey, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and a shake of aniseed if you have some. You can also add some raisins if you fancy!
Roast in the oven at 200˚C for 25 minutes until fruit has softened
Eat warm or cold with porridge or yoghurt and store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
