Honey garlic salmon
This dish from Sally Bee's Vow to Wow plan is so simple and quick to do, it’s great for an evening meal after you come in from work and are feeling too tired to spend a long time cooking.
Sally says: "While the salmon is in the oven, you can rustle up some stir fried vegetables or even frozen mixed vegetables and place the salmon on top of the veggies before drizzling with the sauce and, voila, done!"
Ingredients
Serves 4
4 x 6oz salmon fillets
Sauce:
1 tsp garlic, minced½ tsp ginger, minced4 tbsp honey2 tbsp soy sauce
Method
Combine the sauce ingredients and marinate the salmon for 15-30 minutes
Arrange salmon on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake at 200°C for 15-20 minutes depending on thickness, basting the salmon with the sauce halfway through
Over medium-high heat, bring the sauce to a boil and simmer for 3-5 minutes until reduced. Drizzle over the remaining sauce.
Serve with big portion of veggies!
