We were Married At First Sight
Initially I thought it was very interesting, I was curious and wanted to find out more. As you go through the different stages, I thought, why not?
Emma Rathbone and James Ord-Hume first saw one another moments before taking legally-binding vows as part of Channel 4's new show Married At First Sight.
The pair were matched up by experts and filmed for their first five weeks of marriage before choosing whether to stay wed or get a divorce.
Emma and James, who on paper matched 94%, join us today to tell us why they agreed to the madcap idea, and how they are getting on now.
Emma told us she found being part of a television show difficult, "Ideally, I would have liked to do this without the TV, without any of this".
When they saw each other for the first time on the day of their wedding, James said, "There was nerves", and Emma added, "It was a friendly face at the end of the aisle".
Married At First Sight begins on Thursday at 9pm on Channel 4
