Dogs for Good is a pioneering charity that trains assistance dogs for children and adults with physical disabilities, and families with a child with autism.  Through practical tasks our dogs offer freedom and independence, but in addition an assistance dog becomes a reason to go out, giving a new found confidence that opens doors to fresh opportunities including friendships, hobbies, education and even careers.

There are over 4,700 guide dog owners in the UK.  If you are blind or partially sighted, a guide dog could change your life.  We offer a range of services and activities for children and young people and provide valuable advice for parents and teachers.  We aim to help people with sight loss get out of their homes and engage with their community, rebuilding their confidence and independence.  Our buddy dogs are giving children and young people a vital boost in confidence.

Dog A.I.D. (Assistance in Disability) assists physically disabled people by helping them train their own pet dogs to provide assistance with day-to-day tasks and in some circumstances providing life-saving interventions.  Assistance Dogs increase confidence & resilience, and decrease social isolation & reliance on friends and family members - as well as provide help with daily tasks that most of us take for granted.

Support Dogs is a UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people and families by training dogs to act as efficient and safe assistants. The charity trains three main types of Support Dog, seizure alert dogs, disability assistance dogs and autism assistance dogs.

At Canine Partners our mission is to assist people with disabilities to enjoy a greater independence and a better quality of life and, where possible, to help them into education and employment, through the provision of specially trained dogs for the disabled, whose well-being is a key consideration.  These life transforming dogs also provide practical, physiological, psychological and social benefits including increased independence and confidence as well as increased motivation and self-esteem.  A canine partner also brings companionship, a sense of security and increases social interaction.

We want to share our passion for animals with you.  Our animals are used as therapy animals with the sick, needy and terminally ill.  We have an understanding of the needs of the autistic child and know how important sensory experiences with animals are, so if you have an autistic child and would like to come visit please contact us.    We do therapy trips to special needs school's, hospices, charity events and also for single family visits.  We are a non profit making charity and therefore only asked for donations towards are costs.  We are extremely proud of our animals and the difference they make wherever they go.
