TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Who can enter:

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the Prize Draw Period (as defined below) and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter (as defined below), STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw.

Opening/closing date & time:

Prize Draw in relation to Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2024 as promoted on Soccer Aid (the “Programme”), as well as on the charity’s website, social media and printed material(s), opens for entries via SMS on Thursday 6 June 2024 at 10.00am and closes for entries via SMS at 12.00pm on Thursday 11 July 2024 (“Prize Draw Period”).

Winner selection & contact:

  • The Prize Draw will take place within one (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries and the Promoter intends to use its subcontractor, Fonix Mobile Plc to conduct the Prize Draw.

  • Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.

How to enter & cost of entry:

  • To enter, send an SMS text with the keyword PRIZE to 81144. Text messages cost your standard network message charge (based on your service provider’s fees). You will receive a free entry confirmation text (“Text”) informing you that a voluntary donation of £10 to Soccer Aid for UNICEF will be taken 30 minutes after the Text is received, unless you opt-out by replying to the Text with the word CANCEL before 30 minutes has passed. If you choose to opt-out, you will still be entered into the Prize Draw but the £10 donation to Soccer Aid for UNICEF will not be processed.

You may enter the Prize Draw a maximum of eight (8) times per phone number provided across the Prize Draw Period (“Cap”).

Entries made or received outside of the Prize Draw Period or above the Cap will not be accepted. You will not be entered into the Prize Draw and your donation to Soccer Aid for UNICEF will not be processed but you may still be charged your standard network rate.

Please note that SMS entries without the keyword or entries with errors in the keyword may not be entered into the Prize Draw and donations to Soccer Aid for UNICEF may not be processed however your standard network message charge may still apply.

Any donation made through this Prize Draw is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Donations to UK Committee UNICEF

UK Committee for UNICEF (the "charity”) is a charity (registered in England and Wales under charity number 1072612 and registered in Scotland under charity number SC043677) and a company limited by guarantee (company number 3663181), whose registered office is at 1 Westfield Avenue, Stratford, London, E20 1HZ. More details about the charity and its activities are available at www.unicef.org.uk.

Every donation collected through the Prize Draw will be added to the total fundraising amount for the entire Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2024 campaign which will run from 16 May 2024 until 11 July 2024, and the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) will match the total eligible donations up to a maximum of £4,000,000 (four million pounds).

Gift Aid

If you are an eligible UK taxpayer and are 18 years old or over, thecharity can claim Gift Aid from HM Revenue & Customs for every £10 donation you make and hence increase the amount you donate by up to 25%, at no extra cost to you. If you elect to make the donation by not opting-out within 30 minutes, you will receive a text message with a link which will take you to a web page with instructions to follow which will allow you to add Gift Aid if you determine that you are eligible to do so. You will be required to provide information including, but not limited to, your title, full name, home address and postcode for the purposes of claiming Gift Aid, which will be shared with charity.

The payment of Gift Aid to charities is subject to HM Revenue & Customs’ acceptance of the Gift Aid declaration.

Prize:

There is one (1) prize consisting of a car, four (4) tickets to a Tom Grennan concert, a hotel voucher and an easyJet Holiday credit worth £5,000.

(i) A car

This element of the prize consists of a Suzuki Swift Mild Hybrid Ultra in Frontier Blue Pearl Metallic, 5-speed manual transmission, 2-wheel drive car (“Car”) including pre-delivery inspection and the first registration of the Car, Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) for twelve (12) months; and Suzuki’s standard warranty.

The Car does not include insurance and any other costs not expressly stated above, including maintenance, servicing and fuel costs. The winner is also responsible for any VAT, national and/or local tax liabilities (if any) incurred in claiming or using the Car.

The prize provider will provide the ‘prize claim form’ to the winner after winner confirmation (“Car Prize Claim Form”). The winner must submit the validly completed Car Prize Claim Form to Suzuki GB PLC (“Suzuki”) within thirty (30) days of the date of winner notification. The Car Prize Claim Form must include the following information: name, address and preferred contact details with agreement to contact to arrange the Car handover.

The Car will be delivered to the winner’s nearest Suzuki Authorised Dealership and the winner must collect the Car from this location at their own costs within thirty (30) days of being notified that the Car is ready for collection. The winner must provide a valid insurance cover note to enable Suzuki to register the Car, together with a current and valid driver’s licence, a current and valid photo ID (such as a UK passport) and proof of address.

The Car is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available. Please note that if it becomes necessary for reasons beyond the Promoter, the prize provider and/or Suzuki’s reasonable control, the Car may be varied or swapped for a suitable alternative.

(i) Tickets to a Tom Grennan concert

This element of the prize consists of four (4) tickets for the winner and up to three (3) companion(s) to attend Tom Grennan’s concert at Gunnersbury Park (London) on 10 August 2024 at 3.00pm as well as a meet and greet with Tom Grennan before the show at a time as confirmed by the prize provider.

The prize also includes standard return rail travel from the UK mainland station nearest to the winner’s home address to London or flights if the winner is from Republic of Ireland, up to the value of £300 (three hundred pounds). Please note that the winner and their companion(s) must travel at the same time with the same itinerary across the set dates of 09 – 10 August 2024. The prize provider will liaise with the winner to arrange for transportation.

It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and their companion(s) are available to take the prize on the relevant dates.

Where the winner’s companion is aged under 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the prize. Where the winner’s companion is aged under 16 years old, the companion must be accompanied by a ticket holder over 18 years old. Please note that there is no separate children’s area at this event. It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

The winner and their companion acknowledge that in the event that Tom Grennan does not perform on the relevant date, or that the concert does not take place as specified for any reason, the Promoter does not accept responsibility in these circumstances and no alternative prize will be provided.

The prize excludes accommodation, transportation between the mainline station and hotel and/or the venue of the concert, meals and drinks. excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, travel insurance and personal expenses.

(iii) A hotel voucher

This element of the prize includes voucher for accommodation for two (2) nights at the Nobu Hotel London Portman Square for the winner and up to three (3) companion(s), based on four (4) people sharing two (2) double or twin rooms (as available), on a bed and breakfast basis (“Voucher”).

The winner must redeem their Voucher and take-up the prize by 30 April 2025 (subject to availability), however cannot take-up the prize during the following blackout dates:

  • 29 June to 14 July 2024;

  • 24 December 2024; and

  • 31 December 2024.

The Voucher features a unique reference ID code. The Voucher must be quoted at time of reservation and presented upon arrival when redeeming the hotel stay. The Voucher may only be redeemed once, may not be exchanged for cash, replaced if lost and is non-transferable or refundable. Advance bookings are necessary and are subject to availability. Cancellation of a booking might render the Voucher null and void.

(iv) An easyJet Holiday credit

This element of the prize consists of an easyJet Holiday credit worth £5,000 (five thousand pounds) to be redeemed against a holiday of the winner’s choice (subject to availability) on https://www.easyjet.com/en/holidays (“Credit”).

The winner will receive a voucher code which will enable them to redeem the Credit on https://www.easyjet.com/en/holidays (“Easyjet Website”). To redeem the Credit, the winner will be required to: (i) create an account on the Easyjet Website (“Account”); and (ii) select ‘redeem a gift card’ in the main menu of the Easyjet Website and enter the voucher code. The Credit will then show in the winner’s Account and can then be used to book an easyJet holiday. The easyJet holiday may include accommodation, return shared airport to hotel transfers on beach holidays only, 23kg hold baggage per person each way and return standard easyJet flights from a UK airport of the winner’s choice to their destination of choice that easyJet flies to.

The winner must use their Credit to book the easyJet holiday within twelve (12) months from the date of issue of the Credit (“Expiry”) but the easyJet holiday may be taken after the Expiry.

The winner may travel with any number of companion(s), up to the total booking value of £5,000. Where the winner’s booking is more than £5,000, the winner must pay any extra costs above the £5,000. Where the winner’s booking is worth less than £5,000, no cash exchange will be offered and the remaining Credit will be lost if it is not redeemed by the Expiry.

Please note that the Credit is not available for bookings made via travel agents and cannot be used towards easyjet.com flight only bookings or extras, cost of travel insurance, travel to the UK airport, food and drink, spending money, taxes payable in resort or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the easyJet holiday are the responsibility of the winner.

Once the holiday has been booked, the booking conditions of the prize provider (available at https://www.easyjet.com/en/holidays/info/booking-conditions) will apply, with the exception that no refund (whether in cash or credit) will be provided if the easyJet holiday is cancelled for any reason by the winner. In the event that the prize provider cancels the booking, an alternative easyJet holiday will be offered where possible, or Credit for the easyJet holiday will be re-issued to the winner’s Account.

The prize may not be exchanged for cash equivalent or alternative.
