About this policy
In this privacy policy, “we”, “us” “ITV” and “our” means ITV Consumer Limited. This policy covers the processing of your personal information by us when you make a donation to the Loose Women Talkathon in aid of Britain Get Talking 2024 (the “Appeal”). What information do we collect and who do we share it with?
When you make a donation to the Appeal, we will collect and process your personal data in order to process your donation. This will include: your name, amount you have donated to the Appeal and mobile number.
How will we use your information?
We and our authorised third parties will only process your personal data where we have legal grounds to do so. When you make a donation to the Appeal, your personal data will be processed in accordance with the table below.

To confirm your donation
Text: Mobile number.
We have a legitimate interest to let you know your donation was/was not successful/ provide further information about your donation.
For record keeping purposes in line with ITV’s regulatory obligations so we can demonstrate the donation was made.
Your personal data will be kept for two (2) years from the end of the Appeal.

Will you receive any marketing?
You will not receive any marketing communications as a result of making a donation.
When and why we might keep your personal data?
We keep your personal data where we have an ongoing legitimate or lawful need to do so. For example,
maintaining the provision and performance of the activities pertaining to the Appeal,
complying with our legal, contractual or regulatory obligations,
dealing with intellectual property disputes or other breaches,
resolving complaints.
When we no longer have a legitimate or lawful need to keep your personal data, we will delete it or anonymise it.

Any personal information you supply will be treated in accordance with applicable data protection laws including the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and any other applicable or superseding legislation. The right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. To do this, please email us using the email address set out below making clear that you are requesting a copy of your personal information and including full details of what you require. You may also be required to submit a proof of your identity.

We will comply with such a request unless there is a lawful reason for not doing so, such as when we need to continue to process your information to defend a legal claim.
