Man arrested after two police cars in Newquay found with smashed windows
A suspect has been arrested by police in Newquay after the windows of two police cars were found smashed.
An officer working for Newquay Police Response posted photos of the damage on Twitter.
The caption read: "That's 2 vehicles unable to allow us to respond to emergencies. These vehicles contain vital defibrillators, live-saving equipment, Covid PPE - fleet now depleted."

It was confirmed in the post that a suspect was arrested at the scene and questioned.
Devon and Cornwall Police has since confirmed that a 51-year-old man from Newquay has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
This is not the first attack on police cars in the town.
In April, vandals targeted a vehicle, cut out the fuel pipe and tampered with brakes.
Devon and Cornwall Police launched an investigation and said it could have caused a "serious accident".
