30-year-old man still receiving treatment for serious injuries after New Year's Eve stabbing in Bristol

A man is still receiving treatment in hospital after he was stabbed in Bristol on New Year's Eve.

The 30-year-old was stood by his car on Fishponds Road at about 4:40pm on Tuesday 31 December (2019) when he was stabbed from behind.

He suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital where he's receiving treatment.

Avon and Somerset Police has issued an appeal for information, as they're yet to get a description of the offender(s) from the victim.

The force is urging anyone with any information to call 101 and quote the reference number 5219299942.
