A music festival that was saved by a community in Cornwall after going bust is celebrating its second returning year this weekend.

Looe Live! started on Friday 20 September and will run until tomorrow (Sunday 22 September).

The three-day event will feature more than 100 performances on four main stages, with headliners including Newton Faulkner, Level 42 and The Shires.

People in Looe were devastated in 2018 when their annual sold out festival was cancelled after the host charity when into administration.

Festival fans were determined to save the much-loved event and managed to raise more than £30,000 in less than a week to bring it back under a different name.

Looe Saves the Day went ahead in September 2018 and has returned as Looe Live! this year.
