New car unveiled for youngest Formula One driver Lando Norris from Somerset

McLaren has revealed the MCL34 - the car that 19-year-old Lando Norris from Glastonbury will be driving this season. The teenager is Britain's youngest ever Formula One driver and is due to take part in the first race of the season in March.

The announcement will also include a Q&A with McLaren's drivers, including Lando Norris

Lando started racing at the age of seven - making his name in karting before graduating to cars. He got his first go-kart for his sixth birthday and at 14, became the youngest ever world champion

Lando was snapped up by McLaren as a future winner. He was awarded a place on the McLaren Young Driver Programme in 2017 and was crowned the youngest Formula 3 European Champion in history in October that year at the age of 17.

Lando Norris then became the official McLaren test and reserve driver for the 2018 F1 season and in September 2018 he was announced to drive for McLaren in the 2019 Formula One World Championship, partnering Carlos Sainz Jr.
