Somerset karting sensation hopes to make it to F1

Somerset schoolboy Lando Norris is hoping to be an F1 driver in future after becoming one of the youngest karting World Champions in history- at the age of just 14.

Lando has already made the move from karts to cars- racing at speeds of up to a hundred and fifty miles an hour and is being tipped to one day become as good as his motor racing idol Lewis Hamilton.

It's years before he's eligible for a driving licence but 14 year old Lando Norris is already a star of the motor racing world.

Lando trains for more than 30 hours a week on the track, in the gym and on his at-home simulator. His dedication seems to be paying off and he's now making the move from kart to cars.

There are the inevitable comparisons with other racing greats, but being called the next Lewis Hamilton isn't quite enough for this track loving teen.
