Somerset's Lando Norris wins the European Formula 3 Championship

Somerset-born Lando Norris has won the European Formula 3 Championship.

He finishing second in the first of three races at Hockenheim, which enough to secure the title.

The Glastonbury native has joined the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Hulkenburg who have also won the championship.

Norris is a member of the McLaren's young driver programme and is being touted by many as an F1 driver in the making.
