A bereaved mother who is walking around the coast of Britain in memory of her five year old daughter has been shortlisted for a fundraising award.

Elizabeth Spencer from Cheltenham died from septic shock last December after having an extreme reaction to a cold

Elizabeth always loved the seaside, which gave Natalia the idea for an epic charity challenge - to walk all around the coast of Britain.

Half way through her challenge, she has already raised £70,000 for Bristol Children's Hospital, walking 20 miles a day, six days a week to prevent other families from having to experience her pain.

Natalia hopes to raise £100,000 in total. The money will support the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Bristol Children's Hospital, where Elizabeth was treated.

Now, Natalia has been shortlisted for the JustGiving Awards 2016, in the Endurance Fundraiser of the Year category.
