A bereaved mother who is walking around the coast of Britain in memory of her five year old daughter is half way through her 6000 mile journey.

Elizabeth Spencer from Cheltenham died from septic shock last December after having an extreme reaction to a cold

Elizabeth always loved the seaside, which gave Natalia the idea for her epic challenge - to walk all around the coast of Britain.

She says her daughter has been her daily inspiration.

Natalia started her walk on 14 February from Durdle Door in Dorset, the last beach she and Elizabeth visited together.

She has now reached North West Scotland.

She has been joined along the way by other parents who have lost children, including Heidi Loughlin from Portishead, whose daughter Ally passed away at nine days old.

Natalia hopes to raise £100,000 in total. The money will support the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Bristol Children's Hospital, where Elizabeth was treated.
