A little bit of Magaluf in Mid Wales! Inside the Young People's Village at the Royal Welsh Show
If you are on the wrong side of thirty, you might not realise that every year just up the road from the Royal Welsh Showground, there's a little bit of Magaluf in Mid Wales!
The Young People's Village is a mile away, and is the place to party after a long day taking in the sights and sounds of Llanelwedd.
Now in its 25th year, the event welcomes young people from all over the UK and beyond.
I'm a local lad, and grew up just up the A470 near Llanidloes, but it was a long time ago I was last at the Young People's Village and it has changed a lot!
Watch what happened when Carl took a tour of the village below:
Nowadays it is a large scale and slick operation, attracting international DJs to themassive blue arena which dominates the 40 acre site.
There are tent and caravan areas for the 4,000 who choose to camp. Shops, bars and a funfair entertain the 14,000 partygoers, when they are not dancing the night away.
I thought I'd 'dressed down' accordingly wearing my jeans, but on reflection I was the only person within miles wearing a tank top! Despite that I got a really warm welcome from everyone arriving on Sunday evening.
My guide was 16 year old Ffion Phillips from Crymych in North Pembrokeshire. She's the Wales YFC Junior Member of the Year, after being nominated by her local club and winning at county level.
She gave me a tour of the village and showed me the highlights. We managed to get more than backstage access. We got on the stage during the sound checks to get a great view of the arena. It's truly impressive... and so are the entries for the site's 'Best Caravan Competition'.
It will look very different in a few hours. Thousands of people and blaring music with lights and lasers and even a foam machine! All in the middle of a field!
But Ffion and her friends told me they would avoid the foam party for fear it would ruin their fake tans!
I had a great time at the Young People's Village but I think perhaps me and my tank top would struggle. The partying goes on through the night. Sleep? Sleep is for old people right?!
