The Metropolitan Police said one person has been arrested on suspicion of making a racially aggravated comment towards an officer.

The director of the Tate Modern has said the gallery’s reopening marks “day one” in its history and warned a second lockdown would be a “catastrophe”.

The new and improved Tate St Ives gallery opens with free entry this weekend.
