Performances recalled the pro-democracy gathering of 60,000 which ended with at least 18 dead and more than 600 wounded.

It is one of the few items to have witnessed what took place in Manchester on 16 August 1819.

Speaking to Granada Reports last month, campaigner Mark Todd called it a "metaphor for inequality."
