Ruth Perry, the former headteacher of Caversham Primary, took her own life after learning her school was to be downgraded to inadequate by Ofsted.

While the island's largest teaching union, the NEU, is still striking, headteachers won't be taking part while NAHT members vote on a new offer.

Ruth Perry's sister has commended the team at Caversham Primary school saying it is a "testament" to "actions that Ruth had already taken."
