Headteacher runs past every one of his pupils' homes in North Yorkshire to raise money for charity

Kildwick School headteacher Mr Tim Whitehead is today running a marathon past every one of his pupils' homes in North Yorkshire to raise money for mental health charity Young Minds.

Mr Whitehead set out from Skipton at 0730 this morning and doesn't expect to finish his epic run until 2030 tonight.

As part of the running feat he is also stopping to take photos every few miles of his pupils, who are coming out of their houses to cheer him on - at a safe social distance.
