Police search for driver involved in crash which killed 77-year-old cyclist

Police are searching for a driver involved in a crash which killed a cyclist in Surrey.

Emergency services were called to Horsham Road in Cranleigh at around 6.05pm on Monday (27 September).

The 77-year-old man was treated by paramedics at the scene, but died shortly after. His family have been told.

A witness has described the vehicle as a small white car.

The road was closed in both directions while police dealt with the incident.

Surrey Police is asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information which could help them trace the driver of the vehicle involved, to contact them quoting reference PR/P21208623.
