Man arrested in connection with fatal four-vehicle crash in Sussex
A man has been arrested in connection with a crash in Sussex, in which a man died and his son was seriously injured.
Their car was in a collision involving three other vehicles on the A267 near Frant on Wednesday (18/08).
The 36-year-old from Dartford died at the scene. His two-year-old son was airlifted to King’s College Hospital in London, where he remains in a serious condition.
A 76-year-old man from Tunbridge Wells has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and for failing to stop after a road accident.
He is currently in police custody.
