A foggy Christmas Eve: Channel Island air passengers warned of incoming mist
Travellers and islanders hoping for a clear or White Christmas will be left waiting as Jersey Met warns of fog from the morning of Christmas Eve.
The Jersey Met website says it will be cloudy with rain or drizzle between sunset on Monday 23 December (4:14pm) and sunrise on Christmas Eve (8:02am).
They add that mist and fog patches will begin to appear from mid-evening.
Patchy fog is likely to persist on Christmas Eve morning, with the risk of it remaining for the rest of the day.
There is a chance of patchy fog on Christmas Day.
Previously, Aurigny warned of high winds on Sunday 22 December, with passengers being offered alternative flights.
However, winds are forecast to die down to Force 3 and 2 for the rest of the week.
