World War II grenade destroyed in Guernsey

A World War II grenade has been destroyed in a controlled explosion in Guernsey.

The bomb, which was identified as a Type 36 'Mills Bomb', was found by a member of the public on Moulin Huet.

It was later destroyed by explosives experts.

'Mills Bombs' were widely used in the First and Second World Wars by British troops.
