Guernsey politicians cleared of misleading public
Five Guernsey politicians have been cleared of misleading the public.
An independent review was set up after a member of the public accused five members of the Committee for education of deliberately lying in a press release about the island's controversial secondary education reforms.
In it they claimed there was a policy of only providing parking for 75% of staff at the new schools - which was not the case.

Guernsey States vote to 'pause and review' secondary education plans
The member of public asserted that Deputies Matt Fallaize, Richard Graham, Peter Roffey, Rhian Tooley and Mark Dorey must have known that this was not the case.
But the review's found that while technically incorrect there was no deliberate intent to mislead.
The new two-school model was voted in by the States of Guernsey in January 2018.
Earlier in the year the States voted to 'pause and review' the plans, delaying the model further.
