UK construction company to oversee Jersey's future hospital

A £742,085 contract has been awarded to a UK company who will oversee the ‘Our Hospital’ project in Jersey.

Mace, a consultancy and construction company, will act as project managers to the long-awaited hospital. They have been tasked to ‘ensure that the construction and delivery of the hospital runs as efficiently as possible’.

There is still no set location, size or design for the new hospital in Jersey.

Deputy Hugh Raymond, the Minister overseeing the project, has welcomed the announcement.

Mace have already helped deliver various projects, including a proton beam therapy centre at the Christie hospital in Manchester and the London 2012 Olympics.
