Last day for people to apply for citizens panel on new hospital
It is the final day for people in Jersey to apply to become part of a citizens panel for the new hospital.
The government want to hear islanders' views on the future location of the hospital from a wide section of the population.
There has been much interest in the panel so far, with 100 people applying to join.
It is set to meet around six times over a six to eight-week period and it is hoped it will agree on the criteria that the Our Hospital Project Team will use to decide where the new hospital should be built.
Those looking to apply should go to the government's website where they can find the details. However those who have been involved in a related campaign group or taken a public position previously, will be unable to become part of the panel.
An application form can also be picked up from any parish hall and should be returned to the Government offices on Broad Street.
