Back in 2011, Gary reported on a £293 million plan to build one. Nine years later, he looks back on what has happened in that time.

The contract is with a consortium made up of local construction firm ROK and Spanish builders FCC.

The panel's chair Francis Le Gresley asked for the process to be reopened as 15-25 year olds would be under represented on the panel.

A £742,085 contract has been awarded to a company that will oversee the ‘Our Hospital’ project in Jersey.

The government want to hear islanders' views on the future location of the hospital from a wide cross section of the community.
