Guernsey's Committee for Education, Sport and Culture has revealed it will be asking the States for £157.3 million to deliver new plans for the education system on the Island.

In January 2018, States members voted to reform Secondary Education and move from four high schools to two schools.

In October it was decided the two existing sites to be redeveloped would be at Les Beaucamps and St Sampsons.

The Committee says this will cost at least £30 million less than originally forecast.
