'Visible bruising' on neck of body pulled from the sea
A firefighter has told Jersey's Royal Court about the bruising on the neck of Zsusanna Besenyei when her body was pulled from the sea last May.
Miss Besenyei's body was washed up on Le Pulec Bay, St Ouen.
The firefighter who recovered Miss Besenyei's body from the water says there was "visible bruising on the top part of her neck and shoulder on the right hand side".
Paramedic Robert Smith, who examined Miss Besenyei's body also told the court that he noticed “lines on the right side of her neck”.
The prosecution say Jamie Lee Warn murdered his secret lover, Miss Besenyei, and kept her in the boot of her car for days before getting rid of her body in the sea.
They allege he then drove her car onto a different beach to make it look like she killed herself.
The 55-year-old denies the charges against him.
The trial continues.
