Man 'killed his lover and hid her in the boot of his car'

A man 'killed his lover and hid her body in the boot of his car', a court heard.

55 year-old Jamie Lee Warn is accused of killing Zsuzsanna Besenyei.

This morning the prosecution began laying out their case and say he disposed of her body ‘in the dead of the night’ on a ‘remote beach’.

37 year-old Zsuzsanna was found washed up on La Pulec beach in St Ouen six days after she first went missing in May last year.

The jury will visit key sites involved in the disappearance and death of Miss Besenyei this afternoon.

Mr Warn also faces two counts of perverting the course of justice.

He denies all charges against him. The trial continues.
