Medicinal cannabis expert visits Jersey GPs

A medicinal cannabis expert will meet Jersey GPs, clinicians and politicians today.

Professor Michael Barnes was invited by Deputy Montfort Tadier after GPs were given the power to prescribe medicinal cannabis earlier this month.

The neurologist backed the proposals for the move during his last visit.

The new legislation will come into force in February 2019.
