Alderney States support vote of no confidence in Aurigny
The States of Alderney have overwhelmingly supported a vote of no confidence in Aurigny.
The local airline is owned by Guernsey States and recently announced a £4.5m loss for 2016.
Politician Steve Roberts brought the vote of no confidence to the States, with concerns over the number of aircraft the airline has as well as fare prices.
Nine voted in favour of the move, with one abstaining.
They have voted no confidence in Auringy's management as well as the 'articles governing relationship between Aurigny & its current stakeholder'.
Mr Roberts first brought a vote of no confidence in February this year, that was knocked back but described as a 'yellow card'.
He says since then little has changed.
