Police spent £14k on underwater search for Adrian

Humberside Police could only partially search Handois Reservoir, where Adrian's body was found

Jersey Police have confirmed they spent over £14k on a 3 day underwater search for Adrian Lynch, after he disappeared in December 2015.

£14,331 was paid for a specialist team from Humberside Police who searched water at Tamba Park, Cookes Rose Farm and Handois Reservoir.

But, they couldn't fully search Handoir Reservoir due to 'hostile' conditions and 'poor' visbility.

The 20-year-old's body was found there by staff nearly two weeks ago, eight months after he disappeared.

Cadavar dogs also searched the perimeter of the area, which was classed as high priority by the police.

Adrian went missing after attending a Christmas party and was last seen on 5th December 2015, around 100 metres from the reservoir where he was found.
