Body found in reservoir confirmed as being Adrian Lynch

It has been confirmed that the body recovered from Handois reservoir last week is that of Adrian Lynch.

The 20-year-old disappeared after a work Christmas party in December and there had been no trace of him until 4th of August – exactly 8 months since he was last seen.

Early indications suggested the body was that of Adrian Lynch, after his passport was found in the jacket pocket.

Jersey Police have since had it confirmed by DNA analysis.

The force says Adrian’s family have been updated and specialist Family Liaison Officers continue to support them.

An inquest file is now being prepared for consideration of the Deputy Viscount.
