Cow stuck 'neck deep in mud' rescued
A cow has been rescued after being stuck neck deep in mud.
Emergency services were called to Mobberley, Cheshire at around 2.20pm on Sunday (13 October).
On arrival, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue crew worked alongside animal rescue crew from Cannock.
Pictures show the cow nearly completely submerged in the mud, with only its neck sticking out.
Animal Rescue equipment was put in place and with the help of a farm tractor the cow was pulled to safety.
The farmer was in attendance alongside a vet to look over the animal, it is currently recovering.
